Then the two ancestors Narciso Jondonero & Ceferino Jondonero finally changes the family names to Jondonero after the Japanese wars which many of our family members are descendants of Narciso & Ceferino & still carrying the surnames of Jondonero. According to the family history Narciso & Ceferino are first cousins. There are so many legal reasons behind the history of our family surnames. More info from:
Isaac B. Handinero Jr. Neng Daphne, please note that the family name "Jandinero" was changed to " Handinero" by Eulalio Hingco Handinero (my dad's big brother) during the United States Population Census in 1930 for the family of Maximo Handinero only. They were residing in Chicago Illinois USA during that time. The other brothers of my grandfather - Alejandro, Antonio, etc. retained the family name "Jandinero" and Narciso retained his family name "Jondonero". The othjer family members who used the family name "Handinero" was Jose, the son of Alejandro.
