¡Hola a tod@s! El Club Hispano is excited to announce this semester's outing at La Feria for a dinner of authentic Spanish tapas! Join us there Tuesday, Feb. 26th, from 7-8:30pm (this event will take the place of conversation hour this week). Feel free to meet us in Manoogian lobby at 6:40pm to walk over as a group or just meet us there. Can't make it for dinner? Still drop by La Feria any time between 11am-11pm and mention "Club Hispano." This event is a fundraiser and 10% of every bill will be donated to El Club's scholarship fund. ¡Hola a tod@s! El Club Hispano is pleased to announce that applications are open for the Rising Member Scholarship! This scholarship is intended for a WSU student who has chosen to pursue Spanish as a major or minor and will award $500 toward the recipient's tuition. Special consideration will be given to active participants in El Club activities and those who have demonstrated a commitment to servicing the Hispanic and/or Latinx communities. The deadline is Fri., February 22, 2019 at 5pm. ¡Les queremos anunciar a tod@s el Winter Ball: Retro Global Gala! This Friday, February 1st the WSU Global Language Forum will be hosting the 2019 Winter Ball and this year's theme is an exploration of art throughout the world and through the ages. The event will take place in the Student Center Ballroom from 6pm-11pm and will feature foods and presentations by WSU's many culture and language clubs. Please join El Club Hispano there and take part in our salsa lesson! ¡Nos vemos allí!
☆The first 200 attendees will receive a free reusable water bottle courtesy of the Global Language Forum.☆

¡Hola a tod@s! The end of the semester is just around the corner so please join El Club for our final event of the year, Yoga in Spanish. Come out to relax a bit before finals with a yoga class that will include a mini-lesson on yoga terms in Spanish. The event will take place on Monday, Dec. 10th from 7:45-8:45pm in the Mort Harris Fitness Center on main campus. See the flyer above for more details. El Club members had the opportunity to view the ofrendas exhibit and decorate their own sugar skull ornaments. Hola a tod@s. If you didn't already know, tomorrow there will be a meet-and-greet with 12 international students from Latin America and the Caribbean held in the Greek Room (179) in Manoogian, from 5pm to 7pm. Stop by and take the opportunity to learn about what these young individuals are doing, their countries, and practice your Spanish (or French) at the same time. For those currently taking Spanish courses, this event can be used for the reportaje cultural.
