It’s wedding season and I’m ready for all the fun color palettes we will be working with this year.

People are usually very intrigued by my job and I always downplay my career and explain the hard parts of being a florist. “It’s not just playing with flowers all the time” I’ll tell them.

I realize that sounds pretty negative, and also I guess I’m trying not to make people feel bad about their own occupation.

Truly though, I am thankful that I get to do what I love. It’s not always rainbows and unicorns, but it is pretty darn cool. I work with amazing flowers all the time (like this rose that I’m literally obsessed with) and I’m not going to take that for granted.
