Spectacular spices, blended with love by our very own Queen of Curry, Julie Naidoo...

Julie has been running her own business, selling homemade spice blends and curry meal kits for the past 10 years. That's after she first spotted a gap in the market for real, authentic handmade spice blends - and knew this was her calling.

Being born into Indian heritage allowed Julie to call on a powerful array of family and friends to build her knowledge of spices over the years. Today she uses the seeds of 18 plants to create her wonderful blends.

For this feature, trading at the Franschhoek Village Market has given her and her business exposure locally AND internationally. Today her spices are enjoyed in more than 30 countries. Even chefs from around the world have bought her blends! And they're sure to share the rave reviews they receive when her spices are used in their dishes.

Julie says she loves seeing the same customers come back again and again for their favourite spice blend at our market. If you haven't yet, why not pop in to see her spice selection? You could become a Curry Queen regular too. 🌶️
