I ❤️ my weekend crew! It’e not easy waking up early on Saturdays and Sundays but this team makes it worth it. Although we weren’t working together today, I’ve had so much fun with my right hand gal Meteorologist Grace Thornton every weekend 🫶🏽 girl power honey!!
Thank you to all the sweet viewers who have sent me messages and emails. It doesn’t go unnoticed. Much love always 🫶🏽

The sobbing has officially begun. So grateful Austin brought me an incredible friend like Shane ❤️ irreplaceable! Love you lots, just a see you later!
Life is full of friends and coworkers, but there’s a rare spark when those two come together. Dominique Newland is that rare spark.
Today was her last day at KVUE and our last day as coworkers, but not our last day as friends. Dominique, I’m so proud of you and can’t wait to follow your journey! Thank you for the laughs, the happy hours, and everything in between.

Williamson County nonprofits offering Thanksgiving meal help for those in need The Round Rock Area Serving Center and Helping Hands of Georgetown have given out free turkeys to residents in Williamson County.

It’s Dominique Newland’s last day and we aren’t well. 🥲 This girl has a warm positive vibration she brings into every room. Also I can’t wait to see her on E! News someday, honey the way she has interviewed every celebrity that has come through Austin. Like bees 🐝 to the honey!!!

Bittersweet news to share, this is my last full week at KVUE! 💔
I’m so grateful to the Central Texas community for welcoming me with open arms the last 2 years.
I’ll keep it short (ish) for now.. but boy, where has the time gone!? I came to Austin knowing very few people and experiencing Texas for the first time.
I’m now leaving a cowboy boot wearin, BBQ lovin’, “y’all” sayin’ girl surrounded by friends and wonderful viewers who’ve turned into family 🫶🏽

Last night I had the honor of emceeing the 3rd Annual Fork Cancer ATX fundraising event✨
It’s truly a party for a purpose raising funds for the American Cancer Society and I’m so grateful my first hosting event in Austin was for a cause near to my heart.
I will always give a fork for my angel above, my dad, who I felt with me in the room last night. Congratulations to all the 2023 Tastemaker Nominees who raised $73,000 to prayerfully, one day, put an end to this horrible disease. ❤️
