Adjusting to time change. Couldn’t sleep. Could think about comics so I thought about a comic about my cat. Mr. Cleo.
Tried some methods that would be a lot less to work with. I’m digging it. I’m thinking of making short stories about him vs my kids into zine issues. I think that would be cool.

Color inspired by western and grunge aesthetic. In prep to self publish issue #1 of this story I’m creating extra content for the comic. Other ideas I can make for tiers, extra goods, etc?

I drew a thing. Been drawing a comic for a cool cat, graphic design commission work, and tonight I took time to flesh out my 6 Issues. I’m gonna work on some art for a kickstarter or something for this comic I have been cooking for awhile.

Some of you know I’ve been trying to create a comic. Well— I’m a damn perfectionist and I deal with mental health crap, BUT I’ve been doing my best to tell a stupid story about things I feel like I want to write about.
Mainly, being a Native American who doesn’t feel like he belongs in two different worlds, having a gift and talent he’s too lazy to do, feeling he’s a monster instead of a hero, and he likes to skateboard. Meet Zack.
Like I said, I’ve been trying to get something done and in fact I’ve written an issue zero, and a first issue I might scrap and retry. Here are some photos.
I’ve tried (very little) to publish my work, but I’m really leaning into self publish. I may as well put those other two issues inside a book along with sketches of characters and other concept ideas.
What do you guys think? Would you be interested? If so, if I take this to something like Kickstarter, willing to help spread the word?
I figured I asked. I dunno.
I feel too shy to hide my story and ideas but I think I really should start revealing what I have in mind about this character who lives just outside of a Native American reservation trying to find himself and his new found powers that make it harder to feel normal.
