With our Independence in the Park celebration only one week away (❤️🤍💙), Covington (Ga.) Police Department wants to share the "Operation Red, White & Go!" traffic plan that will be in effect on the evening of Monday, July 4, 2022.

Operation Red, White and Go! is designed to make traffic egress as expeditious as possible and lane closures will start going into effect at 9:15 p.m. on Monday, July 4, 2022. Everyone is encouraged to be in place to watch the fireworks before the traffic plan goes into effect. Spectators should note that how they traveled to their destination may be different from the route they are directed to for their travel back home.
