'Now You're Talking Baby' - new music video and conference paper KOshowKO's 'Now You're Talking Baby' by has a notable history, featured in the Art Music Awards-nominated compilation and adopted as the MINA Film Festival anthem. The creation of this piece was discussed at the Mobile Studies Congress 2023 and now the track has a music video with VHS aesthetics!

The track 'Now You're Talking Baby' has quite a bit of history. It has been originally released on the Clan Analogue compilation album ‘Intone: Voice Abstractions’ which was nominated for the Art Music Awards in the Excellence in Experimental Music category.

Then the track has become an official anthem for MINA's International Mobile Innovation Screening & Film Festival and has been used in the festival’s trailer for a few years now.

The track has been made by processing voice recordings with a 4-track music app Yellofier and because of this approach, it has been also featured on KOshowKO’s most recent release, the EP titled ‘Mobile Positions’.
The creation of this track will be discussed in the academic paper presented by Martin Koszolko and Nick Wilson at the Mobile Studies Congress 2023 next weekend.

The Collaborative Music Contest is a unique, software agnostic event, with two music submission categories: Online Studio Collaboration & Online Live Jamming and a theme of ‘new meets old’.

The contest is not for profit and free to enter and all prizes go directly to the winners. Artists also retain all ownership of the music that they submit.

Entrants can win a range of prizes valued at a total of $46,561 USD and inclusive of music software, hardware and services sponsored by leading tech, software and media companies. Entrants will also have exposure to 14 established artists and music industry professionals who will judge the competition.

Entries are open and will close on 27 November 2022.
