Coach Shilo:
Loves spending with the team getting to know the kids. As a mother of three boys...mountain biking makes her feel like a true boy mom. She is proud to be a part of the GRIT group.

PVMTB Head Coach Travis Hunt
Internet Sales Manager @ Ken Garff STG Ford
Born and raised in St George, Travis started riding bikes through the desert of Southern Utah as a young lad in the '80s. He's been a fan of the sport for a long time, so when his son was old enough to join the NICA team, he jumped on it. At first, it was an excuse to get out and ride more, and hoped that his son would enjoy it as much as he did. It didn't take long to realize that he got more joy out of helping the youth discover their own love for mountain biking rather than helping himself. Travis has been involved with Pine View MTB since 2018 and hopes to continue for years to come.

I just want to ride!
Amy Hunt:
Science Teacher, Wife, Mother, Cake Decorator, & MTB Coach 😁
I started mountain biking to spend time with my husband and found that it was great for my mental health. As the years progressed, I became obsessed with riding and found a tremendous amount of joy hitting dirt with new riders. Their journey reflected where I had once been and I knew how much potential they had as I found it for myself. I love seeing others learn and develop GRIT!
David Williams Pine View MTB Coach
He loves all things on wheels, from side by sides to dirt bikes to mountain bikes. He's the adventurous one, that takes calculated risks and somehow NEVER crashes!
I think he's part cat, that always lands on his feet. He's the encouraging leader (or sweep) that will push you faster while still enjoying yourself. He's the quiet but funny coach, when you get to know him.
Meet Natasha Williams Pine View MTB Coach
I love all things outdoors! Mountain biking was just a way to get out and have adventures with my kids and husband but I really feel in love with it when I got to know all the mountain biking kids. The kids in my ride group (and our whole team), I also claim as my kids, and will cheer as loudly for them as my own (often by the wrong names, just as my own children). I love seeing them challenge themselves and improve. This sport has become a huge part of my life and I can't wait for this next season, to improve on my own skills and to cheer on all "my kids".
New rider registration and information meeting will be at Pine View Middle School. April 12th @ 6pm.

Meet The Coach:
Alex Healey 10 years in Southern Utah
Occupation: Firefighter/Paramedic for Las Vegas Fire & Rescue
Mountain biking is my release. It is how I decompress from a rough shift at work or whatever else I have going on in my life. Now that my 2 boys will do it with me, it has been a fun way to spend quality time with them and be able to watch them grow and thrive on the trails.
Anytime I am not at work or riding, I am either working on our house or trying to get as much quality time with my wife and 5 kids that I can. I love to do anything outdoors, especially when I can involve my family.

Andrew Kuykendall (Ky-Ken-Dahl)
Occupation: Master Mechanic /Mazda
When I’m not at work or mountain biking I’m doing side jobs, building Suzuki samurai’s and customizing Jeeps.
I have always loved everything with wheels and bikes are no exception. It gives me a chance to be with my boys and get a good workout! I graduated PVHS so it’s awesome supporting them as an adult.
I was born in Idaho then my family moved to Richfield for a few years and St. George when I was twelve. I love living here and it is where all my big life memories have been made.
I am an identical twin and we used to pull all the typical twin pranks when we were young.
Let’s ride!

When asked why he loves to mountain bike?
I love the feeling of having all of my senses focused completely on one thing. I love the thrill of moving so fast that mistakes are not an option. I love seeing other athletes pushing with maximum effort and finding the rewards. I love being a support for my boys (And there have been a few over the years.) I love shutting down my inner quitter to find a stronger, yet quieter, voice saying "I knew you could."
What else makes you fun and interesting?
I have had more jobs than people have appendages, won more food eating competitions than most people have ever watched, hung more Christmas lights than the hair on Bob Ross' perfectly restored head and now I'm different.
Thank you Nate for helping and inspiring. Pine View Mountain Bike
