My retired-ish photography journey is an interesting one! I was at a friends house last weekend and I walked into one of her rooms of her new home and she had put up a gallery wall of several photos I had taken over the years. I burst into tears when I saw it! It completely took me off guard. It had me so emotional! Images I hadn’t seen in years and the level of connection was off the charts! Even though I absolutely love what I’m doing now, it did make me miss it. Such good memories! I feel like the more time that passes, the more you love photographs and the memories tied to them. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. Am I right?! 🥹😉😘🙃
Sweet Kacper turned one! I loved documenting this adventure during his first year! 🩵🩵

When your son picks you a flower and puts it in your hair during your photo shoot. 🥹 Awe! And other sweet moments during this session. ❤️
Feeling so humbled right now. I was commissioned a few years ago to help preserve a family’s legacy. Their history to be remembered for years to come. I’ve spent countless hours with an amazing woman named Lisa-Erika who is the mastermind behind it all. I am honored to have had a part in telling her families story. The gallery is called Love Lives Here, and is being showcased at this weekend. ❤️⭐️
Twice the cuteness and twice the sunshine when you have identical twin baby girls. Welcome to the world Penny and Lizzy! 💗💗 ☀️ ☀️

Dahlia Farm magic with one of my favorite families. 💫☀️💓
The first muse I ever had when I started photographing 18 years ago. This is my sweet God Daughter Taegin! When she was born, it was love at first sight. She was a kind soul from the start and I would photograph her all the time. Here mama is a dear dear friend, I learned a lot in those early years! And here we are, 18 years later and I had the honor of documenting her senior photos. Oh how time flies!
Mama and daughter. A beautiful story in one photo. Love the connection!
The only thing that stays the same in our lives is that things are always changing. 💝
UPDATE!
I have made a very intentional decision to slow down in my business. When I decided to stop taking on weddings, it created space to grow in other ways. I have had a lot of time to pause and reflect and think. With my girls’ schedules getting busier than ever, I have been trying to figure out how to be home more while still working.💫
Where am I going with all of this?
An opportunity has opened up for me to still do what I love, but in a different way. And I have embraced it! ❤️ Many of you know I have been taking branding photos for for 11 years now. A door has opened to be the Director of Marketing for her company. To create content for her and her adventures. To work with an amazing team of people whom I love and adore! And I said yes! Starting in September, the marketing position will be full time for me. An opportunity to work from home and have a flexible schedule. To still be able to take photos+videos for her AND be there for my family. 🤍 A gift that keeps giving. 🙌🏻
So what does this mean for my photography clients?
-I am fully booked through October, and am pausing bookings outside of that for the rest of the year. If I am currently working with you on a date, don’t worry! You will still get in.
-2023 portraits will only be for repeat clients. I will be taking a much smaller amount of portrait sessions next year, so let me know if you are interested and I will add you to my list!
-My baby’s first year program will only be reserved for clients who have had a sibling in the program.
Change can sometimes be scary, and setting boundaries is HARD. But if your intentions are good, good will always come back to you. 💓
Sending all my love into the universe! XO 😘

High five’n into the holiday weekend! 💓
I know I’ve been a little quiet on here lately. There has been a lot of reflecting and listening to the sun, the moon and the stars. I’ve been paying attention to signs the universe is giving me. There is going to be a major slow down in my future. Intentionally and purposefully. More details to come next week. 💫
Here is a sneak peek from a beautiful Castle Farms wedding. A moment I love. A black and white to treasure always. 🖤🤍
