Our journey as GypsyFashionista started right here in this small business Life Moments Candle Co.. We had never thought that a 2 month rental of this space through the Holidays of 2022 would bring us such quick friendships and such a sense of strength, push and humbling. Followed by an opportunity of a life time for this small business owner. But all that did happen!

A family business working their hearts off to the supply and demand of their hugh loyal customer base was astounding to watch with my own eyes. The stories of how they came to be not only as a company but as a couple and ultimately this beautiful family. They will forever be stamped on my heart.

Through them raising 3 children, one whom suffers from moderate/severe Autism, one being a new born (whom I'm just honored to have her friendship hehe) and their oldest, a Son whom is one of the most intelligent, kind and mature 10 year old's I've ever encountered. In the midst of raising 3 strong and equip children, the world is still happening around all of us, it's so important to try to understand and take in the hardships of others.
I believe that's what makes us stronger, more aware and more selfless in our own acts. This is definitely true for myself!

So when business gets hard, you have to ask the hard questions as Devin and Jordan did. What's best for the business? What's best for our income? What's best for our future? What's best for our family?
Asking all these questions while still loving the business they've created and the customers they've served. But this time, it's time to serve themselves. They deserve a home and climate that sustains all the needs of their family, not only their business.

When answering these questions for myself and my family, the decisions were made as said below.

With all that being said, I hope you will continue to visit the store which will be under the management of myself, Katie Marderness. Owner of GypsyFashionista and soon Birds of a Feather Boutique & Artisan Designs at the same location.
We will be riding on the coat tails of the end of Life Moments Candle Co. lease through the end of July. At which time we can decide to continue with our own lease to stay at this location. We will take over management March 1st 2023 and have our Grand Opening event Saturday March 4th 2023.

We will of course be carrying all things Life Moments Candle Co.! Along with Fenwick Soaps , Tumbleweed Tonics, HippyScape , some hand made furniture & who know what else!

All small & large businesses alike, should be following this to a T!

As we reach the end of another year, I'm reminded that everytime I thought I had fallen it was really just a stumble.

With that in mind, I've also realized that it's just a part of life, isn't it? We think we've fallen into the deepest depths, when really there are devastating disasters happening all around the world.

So this year, I'm going to make it part of the dance. Continuing to reach new heights, new goals & learn some new moves!
