One of my favorite recipes from my new cookbook is the Strawberry Fool recipe inspired by EMMA. Fruit fools were a popular Regency dessert that involved folding cooked fruit into custard. This modern version uses fresh strawberries macerated in elderflower liqueur and layered with sweetened whipped cream. A perfect dessert!
