ISIOLO: COUPLE IN HOSPITAL AFTER FIGTHING WITH AN ADULT LION

Forget the biblical verse which says Samson killed a lion. A real Kenyan man who was accompaning his bae to look for firewood in Isiolo County actually wrestled with an adult lion when he saw it attacking his wife.

When Michael Apaiyu saw the lion running towards his bae who was on a misson of fetching firewood, he charged like a wouded buffallo

He wrestled the lion to the ground even as it viciously pierced him with it's claws.

Speaking on hospital -bed he narrated how the lion overpowered him and pinned him on the ground.

While down still fighting with it, he, asked his wife Susan Chebet to throw him a panga she had carried to cut firewood with. But his bae rushed and hit the big cat in the eye twice, a thing which made it to turn around and clawed her on the chest and legs but it eventually collapsed in pain.
