We are delighted to welcome the newly established The Buzzing Bean Cafè to Dementia Friendly Middlesbrough.

Bringing a Havana vibe to Middlesbrough Sports Village, the cafe offers a well lit, brightly coloured space to relax and connect. All the staff now have a better understanding of dementia and have committed to offering a welcoming place for those living with dementia and their families 💙

The owner is a carer for Mum who lives with dementia and often attends our dances - showing off their Latino moves. Even the chairs are special to us, having previously being owned by one of our beloved dancers.

We are thrilled that this new venture will bring more people living with dementia together for a chat and a brew ☕️🐝
