The next chapter of the big rivalry is here, Boca Seniors and Area 51 will face eachother once again!

After 7 matches, both teams are currently tied on 21 points each at the top of the log, with Boca Seniors sitting in 1st place due to the better goal difference.

Area 51 are looking to finally beat Boca Seniors in a full 50-minute-match for the first recorded time. Seniors have won all 4 previous recorded encounters, with the following results:

👏 Congratulations to Joey's All Stars' Tariq for winning the Players Fair Play Award. Tariq has shown outstanding discipline, character and composure in playing the beautiful game.

👏 Also big congratulations to Wee from Boca Juniors for winning the Player of the Tournament Award! The young man has shown exceptional skill and passion throughout the whole tournament.

⚽ We will host a big 1-Day Tournament with all APL & Division 1 Teams on the 1st of May at the Mountain Rise Astro!

The tournament will start at 9:00 AM sharp, entry fee is R600 per Team.

🏆 Winners will win a floating trophy, figurines, a Kit and Cash (STBC)!

📸 A sports photographer will be present and photos can be bought at R20 per photo.

🔵 Besides bragging rights, the winner of the Astro Premier League will receive a floating Premier League trophy, Figurines, a fully Branded Kit and R10000 in cash on top of that!

🟢 This seasons winner of our second tier, the Division 1 league, will win a floating trophy, Figurines, a branded kit and R5000 in cash!

Runners Up of each league respectively will receive figurines and a new kit!

🎤 We reached out to PwC Coach Leroy Stevens to talk about his teams performance so far this season.

Stevens additionally said: "We have a big squad and they are competing for places, which gives me a good headache. Overall their commitment and respect for the game has given us a fighting chance in all matches.

We have 16 players, ranging from 15 to 19 years old and further 3 senior players. I've registered to play myself, but Players have done so well (that) I’ll remain as coach for the season instead.

I’ll be happy with a top 8 finish this season, as teams are more aware of PWC and will come guns blazing. It will take lots of work and consistency from the players to achieve that."
