The couple is living in South Africa and had a very intimate ceremony on a boat of in Amsterdam only with their closest family members and friends. Such a joy to capture these special moments for them.

I’m back…I’ve spent some days off with my little family and didn’t move from the poolside. Everyday was pool day 💦 One of my favorite moments: the pool conversations I had with my little girl while warming our body on the hot tiles. ✨

Since today I’m back in the edit mode and busy delivering many new client galleries as well as answering all your emails and requests. And I’m getting more excited for my 2025 wedding couples and to mee them soon!

|| Wedding mornings are so special, because I can capture a complete transformation. From the morning gown to the wedding dress…from the exciting young lady to a confident woman! It is a mix of silently observing that very individual transformation and in the meantime creating new art. I still hear my bride Camille saying very emotional: “Biggy, woow is this really me?” when I showed her this picture on my camera right after I took the shot!

That magic moment when bride Camille walked down the aisle at the beautiful royal garden at to see her husband for the very first time. Why magical? Because she was first walking alone all the way, all eyes on the bride and then meeting her parents who supported her with her last steps as an unmarried woman. There was so much meaning and symbolism in this walk, it felt so special to observe all the different kind of emotions the bride, her parents, the groom and the guests went to.

The very intimate garden wedding of NICK & LINDA. 🌿

What a special day because there was only a hand full of guests invited. Family and the very closest friends of the couple created a very intimate, vulnerable and special atmosphere.

They had an open tent set up on a big meadow right next to their parents home and we could take all pictures in the garden and the field in front of the house. Nick & Linda had a very clear vision for their wedding day and it helped them to stay true to their dreams for this day. And the cherry on top: during the wedding shoot they told me they carry a little secret around…they are expecting 🤍. Feeling so honored they were trusting me with these special news (no secret anymore when sharing this post) I ended up with happy tears of joy.

While their guests were preparing for the upcoming speeches and next dinner course, we took a couple of minutes to unwind on the field right in front of their wedding location. The sun hit the mountain beautifully and we could watch the dust dance in the evening light.

When you plan your wedding day I will make sure to let you figure out what kind of pictures are important to you and how we can then best incorporate them into your planning. A sunset shoot is a great opportunity to take a moment for yourself and your spouse, to reflect about all those highlights of the day and take a deep breath together. And while you do what is good for the both of you - we will create more unforgettable memories!

Home with the family and during nap of our youngest I’m busy with a very special album project: our family yearbook. Practice what you preach: the importance of printed pictures is what I highly recommend to all my couples and therefore I also implement it with our private pictures. A project which is very time consuming but so worth it.

When I read these words from my bridal couple I can honestly say that this is the reason I’m doing this!
FOR YOU so you can always relive your day by looking at the pictures I took and creating art that lasts. This day will never return. The only thing you have left and that no one can steal you are the memories of the day in your head and the beautiful pictures that will keep these special memories alive forever!

|| Apparently there was only 1 day in October when it wasn’t raining in the Netherlands. And surprise, this was NOT the wedding date R&S picked, however they couldn’t care less.

Groom Sebastian got ready on the boat 🛥️ of his parents while Rachel had a relaxed morning at her parents house.

It was so nice seeing doing her magic again (who btw also did my own wedding make-up 7 years ago)! She’s so talented 🫶🏻 so if you’re still looking for someone doing your bridal hair and make-up follow her.

I love it if a bride also matches the chosen wedding location and Rachel definitely looked like a royal princess in her elegant wedding gown. ||

|| M&E brought so much joy and sunshine ☀️ on their own wedding day and that was indeed special, because there have been many cold and rainy days before (and after) their big day.
Groom Martin organized a beautiful oldtimer and we couldn’t resist taking a couple of classic shots in the middle of the street.

|| WEDDING DETAILS - when I started shooting weddings I found this one of the most challenging parts of the day. Maybe this sounds weird, but because the wedding mornings are usually so busy and tight scheduled that I found it quite a challenge to create the perfect scene for the details shots and to be creative on pressure. Now this is one of my favorite moments 🤍 Getting all those pretty items from the bride she carefully collected in the past months and finding a unique setting. I guess it’s the fact that I have more experience now and also that I love to enjoy the trust and freedom from the brides that I will create a beautiful setting that fits into the whole wedding story of the day.
In this case I chose for a nice spot in the garden. Each leaf 🍃 is carrying a valuable item (which was actually quite a challenge in itself) like the inherited necklace from grandpa, given to the mother of the bride.
And if you look closely you even see some curious strawberries 🍓 dancing between the shoes… ||
