One day in January 2018, I’m sitting outside in my campsite in Scottsdale Arizona, and I’m thinking. (If you know me, you would already know that is a dangerous thing.) I’m still thinking, Hmmmm....I love doing craft shows with all of my quirky outdoor ideas involving barnwood and barbed wire......But you know, all of that stuff is heavy, & scratchy, & bulky & can even be a pain in the butt!.......Wouldn’t it be great to just create something that is easy to move from point “A” to point “B”, easy to store, doesn’t clutter up my life.....(Not to mention my poor husbands garage and shed)......But still spikes my interest and passion for creating something out of nothing.......I’m still thinking!......It has to be a great product!......It has to be clean and natural!.......It has to be something that other people would love to use!.......But, just what might that be?????........I’m still thinking!........When It Finally Hits Me! Eureka!! Aw Snap!! Everyone and their brother is making hand crafted soaps.....Drat!......What next?? Ok, It hits me again!.....Eureka!! All Natural, No Preservatives Lotion Bars, & Body Butters, & Body Lotions, & Lip Balms, & Body Scrubs, & Essential Oil Scents for Men & Women, & Facial Moisturizer, & Sunscreen Products, & After Sun Products, & Oh Oh Oh.....What About Insect Repellents & After Insect Bite Creams......And the List Just Keeps Going On And On!!! Whew!!!......Whoa Little Sister!!!......You need a name......You need quality base products.....You need packaging.......You need labels......You need some Guinea Pigs! (Sorry Sisters and Friends, that’s you) You can do this!!! So all of this happened in just a few short months. I am making and dreaming up new products and variations every day!......I haven’t slept much in the last few months......But I am having a blast! I am so excited about all of my products and hope you will give them a try! I currently have a small space in The Market on Strongs, in Beautiful Downtown Stevens Point and a small space that I share with all of my other previously mentioned crafts in the Antique Up! Mall. I would be happy to make products to order in a desired scent or unscented version, or you can just go to the store and pick them up! I am in the process of getting another space in another location in Downtown Stevens Point! When that happens, I will be sure to post all about it!
I am also exploring the option of a winter space in the Farmshed at the Market / Stevens Point Farmer’s Market community, but will have to be approved, as mine are not edible products.....I will keep you posted if that opportunity comes to fruition also......
As promised, I am updating everyone on some new digs where you can find more of my products. I am currently selling Wine Scented Shampoo Bars and Lotions & more at Willow Cottage Soap and Candle Company located on Main Street in Downtown Stevens Point.
Also, I am one of the “Makers” at Agora Makers Market on Main Street in Downtown Stevens Point. You can find a complete line of all of my products and I haven’t ditched the “Crafty” part of my personality. I am selling repurposed Antiques & Crafts here also! Please stop by and check it out!!
