Returning to my roots......I am feeling really excited about sharing this. I have always loved being creative and being at home with small children I found my creative side returning after many years hiatus. After many home projects with my kids I am now excited to present to you all a series of Connect & Create Workshops, combining my love of connecting with woman and exploring my creative side. The first in the series will be a Native Flower Wreath making workshop. This will be a relaxed day connecting with like minded woman and tapping into our beautiful creative feminine flow. A fun day celebrating my daughter’s 8th bday with some nature craft activities! Not sure who enjoyed it more the kids or the adults…..😍

Mother’s Day! What does it mean to you? I find myself reflecting on this today as my kids are playing around me. They made me some beautiful cards that I was gifted this morning and then followed by Mum! I’m hungry, can you make me breakfast! 😂
My husband woke up and said happy Mother’s Day what would you like to do today?
At first I felt some disappointment, nothing has been planned or thought out for me which in my mind translated to nobody cares, I’m not important…..but on some deeper thinking of this has he actually handed me the best gift of all?

I spent a long time outsourcing my happiness in life. Expecting others to know what I needed and to be able to deliver that simply because I believed that’s what you did for people you loved.
The last few years has been a massive journey for me along the path of self responsibility and the layers of that just keep getting deeper and deeper.

So today I choose to celebrate myself. I choose to voice what it is that I actually want to do.
Which is to be at home. With my family. So we will light a bonfire, potter in the garden and just love on each other. Perfect. 🧡🧡🧡

Let stop restricting motherhood! Placing it in a box and saying this is what being a good mother looks like…..motherhood is not restrictive…..it is one of the most EXPANSIVE experiences you can have in your life!

Let’s celebrate ALL the ways we can journey through motherhood…..which is as infinite as there are mothers….every journey unique to the individual woman and every way EXACTLY RIGHT for that woman!

Being a mother does not mean forsaking all else in your life that brings you joy! It’s okay to want more! More for yourself and more for your children!

Let’s foster relationships in our life that support the ALLNESS of motherhood! It’s not always easy but with the right SUPPORT in your life you can live your life to your fullest in anyway that might look!
