Scholarship was founded by Renée Morgan who lost her mother at the age of 13 and her father at 21.
Rewards college bound high school students residing & attending schools in the East Coast of the United States who lost a parent at a young age & maintained high academics. As we close out of 2023, we would like to congratulate this year's scholarship recipient, Deshawn Brooks! He graduated from Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC with a 3.42 GPA. He is currently a freshman at Morehouse College, majoring in Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media Studies.

Since 2011, we have awarded over $80,000 in scholarships to students who have attended, Morgan State, Morehouse, Penn State, Univ. of Md (College Park), and North Carolina A&T, just to name a few.
