Our founder Dr. Kareem C. Puranda was once a popular rap artist and represented for the hundreds of students he kept safe while working as a School Resource Officer at Knox Middle School in Salisbury, NC. He made a difference in their lives then and continues to do the same with the participants in the ASOP program. Thanks for what you do Dr. P!

The Honorable Judge Rhonda Patterson provided words of wisdom and inspiration to the audience at the Druid Hills Black History Community Event. We were so fortunate to hear her amazing story which is a testament to the statement: It's not about how you start, it's how you finish. Thank you Judge Patterson for making the ancestors proud.

Big shout out to the ASOP staff who share their time and talents with our awesome participants and community partners. It takes a village to cultivate minds and we are happy to partner with the CMPD diversion programs to educate young people on how to bounce back from adversity with purpose and planning.
