Some of you might have noticed I've had my head down and I've been working very very hard for weeks on end! I have also been moving 250 miles, selling my house, cleaning out my house and staging it, doing all the things! I can officially say I need some rest. I was planning to work a half day today, but... I just need to rest, allow my body to recover, and tune out for the evening!
We will be back and badder than ever probably tomorrow.

I don't understand why people think luxury ends are high maintenance?
I was literally in a loc group and someone made a comment about luxury ends needing a bunch of work and care... and I'm curious what that could be!
With the luxury ends I craft I usually ignore them for a month or more at a time, only brushing them when I feel like it! If I want a really clean polished look I might use heat protection and then flat iron or curl them, but that's a couple times a year.
What have you heard about luxury end care? What do you do to maintain yours?

Want to know how to make luxury ends for your dreadlocks?
You and everyone else ;) The secret is... just that! a secret! You are welcome to your own methods to processing, weaving, felting, stitching, etc in order to create this effect for your own work, but please understand that years of research and trial and error have gone into creating a product I can be proud of... The material source, processing, technique, and prep for luxury ends is a combination of a course I paid for, continuing education, a certification about hair and scalp structure and care, years of working on perfecting the processing and creation of the materials, and in the end this knowledge remains a cornerstone of my business. I KNOW they look amazing. I know they feel soft and are unbelievably similar to human hair! I knoooooow that! I love them SO MUCH and I'm glad you do too, but trust me when I tell you all the details are closely guarded trade secrets and anyone who REALLY knows what they're talking about isn't going to just tell you. ;)
I would love to see what you come up with, though! I am a huge fan of the Lizzies and Rapunzel locs and all the other fun techniques there are out there!
