To celebrate people eat latkes and donuts fried in oil during this holiday. This food is considered parv and very tasty. Roasted Turkey 22/11/2018

One thing that I learned today is that you have to make sure that the turkey has reach a safe to eat temperature before you can let it rest before serving. The temperature is important for killing all the contaminates that can make you sick. Make sure you put the meat thermometer into the thickest part of the meat to check and make sure it is all the way to the bone to get an accurate reading. Do not put it in the cavity because that is going to be a different temperature. https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/food-network-kitchen/roasted-turkey-recipe-1941883
