I feel ok about buying vintage leather. I'm not directly supporting the manufacturer and adding to the demand for leather garments.

I used to worry that wearing it would help perpetuate it's fashionalbility.

Fortunately with the rise of faux and vegan leather, it seems that the leather look can be timeless without the environmental and ethical impact 👌😪

This vintage vest is from specialty Dutch company, Mages. The leather outlasted the thread so I had to hand and machine stitch most of it back together! 🧵

Its a real looker and I hope it finds a good home! 💖
