After months of hard work, my latest Micro PCB Motor is ready for release! It's now robust enough to be offered as a development module on microbots.io ~ It launched yesterday and to our surprise sold out within hours! But it will be restocked in a couple of weeks, along with the build video on my YouTube channel.

So happy with all the feedback we received on the Mini-Sphere! We will continuous keep thinking about new ways to improve this RND project so that maybe someday it will be feasible enough to turn it into a product

MKI had some issues related to the motor driver and mechanical stiffeners, which I managed to fix with this new design! Can't wait for the new PCB to arrive and drive it around!

I haven't got a HASL surface finished pcb in ages! I kind of forgot to tick the ENIG box 😅 But it looks cool with the matt black soldermask

Last week I finished testing the software of the Open Reflow controller. I found a couple of hardware mistakes in the circuit, so it took me awhile to debug and find if the issue is from the circuit/soldering/software, but now that its done, I made the necessary modifications to the PCB to fix the hardware mistakes v1.0 had.

I cannot wait for the new PCBs to arrive and show you what it does! For now I 'm going to keep it a secret (Patreon members 🤫) What do you think is its application?

New Year, New Flaps 🎉 Just received this experimental PCB flap prototype which I'm calling the PixleFlap. It's job is to reflect light and I'm quite satisfied with the first results! Next step is scaling it up 😎
