Team Laker 192

Last weekend saw all 3 Team Laker 192 riders in action unfortunately Rhys and Martin were practicing at lydd whilst Jack was at iwade for the Kent Kings press and practice day ! so unable to split myself in half I was not able to be with all 3 riders!
So I took Jacks bike which I cleaned prepared and fitted a new engine in to iwade and was on the tools all day helping him
Jack had a good day getting faster as the day went on and also found out a few mechanical problems that I will sort out before the 1st Kent Kings match
As for Rhys had a bit of a nightmare with a string of bike problems including a broken seat bracket but still managed to get some laps in on 1 of his freshly tuned Goddens and Martin had a steady day blowing away the cobwebs ready for the start of the season 👍

Our 3rd rider we will be assisting this season is none other then Kent King Jack Kingston 👍
Our help for Jack this season is pretty much an extension of what we was doing in 2023 until Jack’s bad crash!! Which is helping whenever possible in the pits on practice and race days and mainly cleaning and preparing his bikes ready for the next meeting this is vital to Jack to enable him to ride as well as running his own business which takes most of his time before race days 👍

3rd rider announcement tonight between 7 and 8 to be riding under the Team Laker 192 banner for 2024

Our 2nd rider riding under the team Laker 192 banner this season is none other than my own son Rhys Laker 
Although things won’t really change much for Rhys as I will continue to do all the things that I already do such as washing all bikes and equipment , rebuilding bikes, on the tools in the pits at meetings and practice as well as being a sponsor and sorting out all his racing media .Team news for Rhys will be announced soon once his club has made the announcement official but for now Team Laker 192 Rhys is a welcome addition 👍

As promised our 1st rider to be riding under the Team Laker 192 banner for 2024 is good friend Martin Tappenden
With every rider that we are helping this year personally as a team in ways to move the rider forward with time spent assisting in ways to help and improve the riders racing
With Martin I shall travel whenever possible particularly to practice days to improve Martin’s all round riding and assisting in the pits on the spanner’s

New logo for the van and the 1st of our riders that will have assistance from us announced tomorrow
