“When in Rogue...”
Stopped into Rogue on a road trip with the old man yesterday. Great beers, eats, and an amazing root beer for dad.
Thanks for the hospitality! Always a great time!
JC... the OG Millennial.
I guess technically he’s an actual millennial too... I mean, he’s been around for a few millennia!
Hope you all have a FABULOUS Saturday and weekend!
Alright folks, I’ve been waiting a bit to share some big news and I’ll spell out all the details below, but the short version is, I wrote a book!! Yes, really!
And now I need your help picking a headshot for the book jacket and media! Thank you to the extremely talented for the amazing pics! It was so hard to choose, but these are the top 5.
Please help me pick the best pic by commenting 1,2,3,4, or 5!
Now for the book details:
The book is called The 5 Dollar Difference: How To Change The World With Your Spare Change
It’s about giving back to your community in small ways that make a big difference! I share a bit about the science of giving, how it changes us mentally, emotionally, and even physically... all the way down to our spit! 😳 I also share my experiences from giving back, and some inspirational stories from a class full of 5th graders and how they inspired me.
What I’ve learned and what I share in the book, is that it doesn’t matter where you live, how much money you have or give, or even how old you are... when you give to others, YOU are happier! And who doesn’t want to be happier?!?
Another thing I’ve learned, is that no one does something like this on their own. It takes a team, a network, a support system, a tribe, a village... whatever you’d like to call it.
Knowing that it takes a tribe, and knowing I have zero experience in publishing a book and everything else that comes along with the joys (and headaches) of writing one, I’m calling on each of you and all my author friends who have far more knowledge and experience than I, to help me with these final stages. If you know of an agent or publisher, or any other person who may be able to help and guide me through this process, I would love to connect with them!

Even though the book isn’t published yet, there are already so many people to thank: my family, my friends, and my mentors (too many to tag here). Thank you for your support and direction. I love you!
In the words of Anne Frank, “No one has ever become poor by giving.”
Hot springs, blue skies, and ice cold beers. Pretty much the prefect afternoon... it’s ok I guess.
Hope everyone is having an amazing weekend!
