Through ART social change is possible and it can trigger the minds towards positive approach. Films and Documentaries based on social issues play vital role to help change mindset in society especially among youth. They not only entertain and inform us but also provide us with different perspectives resulting in more chances for understanding those whose beliefs and views are different from ours.

Success Story of Khushhal Poorani
Meet this legendary personality, a very down to earth, competent , hardworking young and brilliant mind, Mr. Khushhal Poorani, a son of farmer, who hails from very humble background and lower middle class family of Mithi, District Tharparkar. He has recently qualified and recommended for the post of Municipal Officer (BPS-17) in Local Government Department, Govt. of Sindh, on pure merit.
As far as his educational credentials are concerned, he keeps a good record of hard work and struggles. Despite many challenges, he has remained topper throughout his educational career. He has remained first position holder in his school days and finally he was first position holder in his batch of matriculation in his school in 2009. Later on he was top ten students in entrance test of Mehran University of Engineering and technology and got his first choice of department. He has graduated in Electrical Engineering from one of the best Engineering Institute of Sindh, and remained in top 20 students of his batch. Soon after graduation he started preparing for competitive examination like CSS/PCS and one paper MCQs based examination. He excelled in many of them with flying colors. He appeared in CSS 2021 but could not make it. He has many feathers in his cap.
Achievements:
A. Stood first position on matriculation in his school in 2009.
B. Stood at top seven positions in entrance test of Mehran UET Jamshoro in 2011.
C. He graduated from Mehran University in Electrical Engineering and was among top twenty students.
D. He got second position in district Tharparkar, in the recruitment test of Monitoring Assistant (BPS-14), conducted by IBA-Sukkur in December 2016, he entered into government service at the very young age, served over there for 14 months and resigned from the job .
E. Later on, in 2018, he was appointed as Junior Engineer in Chinese Company. He went China for 6 months training of Power Plant in Guizhou, China , and returned to Pakistan, joined Engro Power Plant Thar Limited (EPTL) and served for three years as an Operation Engineer at Thar Coal Block II.
F. In 2021, he once again qualified the test of Monitoring Assistant (BPS-14), conducted by NTS and serving in DG (M&E) District Tharparkar till now.
Moreover, He has qualified number of one paper MCQs based tests
1. Qualified written tests for the post of Junior Engineer many times, but couldn’t make for the interviews.
2. Qualified CSS Screening tests of CCE-2019, CSS 2022, 2023, 2023 (Special CSS).
3. Thrice qualifiers of GAT-General, conducted by NTS, with good scores.
4. Qualified all three stages of Sindh Sales Tax Officer (BPS-16), conducted by IBA-Karachi but failed in interview due to irrelevant degree.
5. Qualified Assistant Director Recruitment (BPS-17), through SPSC, but failed in interview.
6. Qualified written test of AEN (Electrical) though FPSC, but not low in merit.
7. Qualified written test of Electric Inspector/District Electrical Supervisor (BPS-17), through SPSC but failed in interview.
8. Qualified all stages of Assistant Director NAB (BPS-17) process through FPSC, but unfortunately not recommended in final list.
9. Qualified written test of Inspector Inland Revenue (BPS-16), through FPSC.
10. Scored 71 in IBA Test conducted for the post of (1-15) grade.
11. Scored 74 and 72 in Assistant Director Investigation (BPS-17) in FIA, but couldn’t make in final list.
12. Finally, the long journey of struggles and hard work resulted him in achieving a great accomplishment. He has scored 80 in Municipal Officer (BPS-17), qualified and recommended on pure merit.
Exams, whose result is yet to be announced,
1. Recently qualified written Test of SDO/Junior Engineer (BPS-17) in IESCO, interview is scheduled on (25.10.2023) in Islamabad.
2. Appeared in CCE-Engineering Cadre in Local Government Department in Nov/Dec 2022, and result is yet to be announced.
3. Appeared in Special CSS 2023, and waiting for the result.
