Classic meets contemporary in this Manhattan apartment that is flooded with light. Light is particularly precious in New York City apartments and is an important element in the visual interplay that designer Brian J McCarthy creates in his work. The owners, a sophisticated couple whose primary residence is in the Middle East, have a fantastic art collection and fabulous style which made for a fun and lively collaboration. Bradfield and Tobin
Dynamic design duo Geoffrey Bradfield and Roric Tobin re-designed a five bedroom Hamptons residence in the Sag harbour enclave of North Haven for an owner who wanted a comfortable feel to the interior of what is a house with classic architecture. Brightening the spatial mood. Bradfield and Tobin opted for cheerful summer colour palettes and swapped nautical themes for stunning wildlife photographs and animal kingdom prints. Sophisticated in Seattle: Designer Terry Hunziker celebrates beauty and serenity in unconventional ways in this 3,000 sq ft circa 1898 apartment in downtown Seattle.
The building had gone through many changes since being originally built as a hotel. This is his own penthouse apartment and consequently the design reflects his personality and is full of his art, furniture, objects and books.
