Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️

It’s almost time! Lush Art began these Makers Markets during the Parallelogram as a way for makers to get in front of buyers when events were all cancelled.

We’ve continued because we have met so many fabulous makers in our area and want to continue to give them a space to sell.

We do these markets seasonally and our Spring market is scheduled for March 5. These are great markets for buying gifts and supporting local.

We have over 20 vendors committed and prepping. We have room for 2 more makers. We limit similar products so many categories are full. All vendors must make their goods and be local to our area. I know we have all kinds of jewelry covered and no longer can accept any vendors in any jewelry category.

We would LOVE to find a food vendor for one of the spaces, can’t be a food truck because we have all spaces in the parking lot claimed. We talked to several but none have committed. We’d also love a macrame maker and a plant vendor which are areas that fit in to our availability.

I’ll be highlighting our makers in stories over the next few weeks so make sure to check those out and learn more about our vendors.

This event will be March 5 from 10am-3pm at our Perry Studio at 1222 Main Street. We have vendors inside and outside.

All people who come to the event will receive a raffle ticket. If you purchase from vendors you’ll get another raffle ticket. We will have 2 large raffle baskets filled with items from our vendors.

We like to include an element of goodwill and community at each market. We will be accepting donations for Friends of the Library so please drop off used books for the collection. You’re welcome to drop these off at classes the week leading up to the March event.
