It is no secret that workers are the backbone of any successful nation. So on this labour day, we should all consider what we can do to help the workers we see and meet in our daily lives. The Young Journalists' Society extends its heartfelt congratulations to Muhammad Ali Haider Bukhari, who received the Roll of Honour at the 21st Convocation Ceremony for his services rendered as the President of the Young Journalists' Society. His achievements in his co-curricular pursuits and his prospective journalism career are not just a testament to his aptitude and abilities but also to his perseverance and determination. The Department of Media and Communication Studies, GCU Lahore, paid a visit to the Lahore Studio of Samaa TV on March 7, 2023. The students were shown how different recordings of shows are conducted simultaneously in a single place. Moreover, the visit to the PCR room demonstrated how live recordings are operated. All in all, such visits help students gain a good grasp of basic work capabilities and technical skills.
