Take a look at the Year 4 artwork on display at JPS.
200 students have had 1 art lesson, planned and taught by Year 12 art students at JC based on the topic "Rainforests" They have learnt how to collage using layering techniques.
Well done to all the students for their exceptional effort. :)

Take a look at the year 4 and 5 JPS art classes taught by Year 12s from JC! 200 students have had 2 art lessons every week since September. They have learnt how to collage, paint and compose their drawings on topics such as Migration and Rainforests. We now look forward to teaching year 4s more about layering and collage.
Well done to all the students for their exceptional effort!

This term, as part of complementary studies, art students in Year 12 & 13 have been holding fun, creative workshops for JPS students in year 5. Creating colourful, vibrant, watercolour paintings of birds. The theme of the project is Migration, the current topic they are studying in class. Our bird paintings were inspired by artist, Abbey Diamond and were done using watercolour and pen. A big well done to 5A, 5B, 5C, 5F and 5G so far!

Hey guys! The first art society meeting is tomorrow at lunchtime, in art room 1. It will be an introduction to art society so we will have a quiz, a few questions for discussion, other fun activities and doughnuts! Hope to see you there :)
