My husband and I went to the beach together for a get-away this week 😃

I am a blessed woman 🙏

My parents kept our children during a busy time in their summer to make it happen 🧓👵🧑👩

A good friend took time from meeting a crazy graduate school deadline to spend time with me while my husband was in training sessions during most of the day 👭.

The weather was beautiful and the ocean was refreshing ☀️ 🏊‍♂️ ⛱.

Thanks to a supportive peer accountability group, I have learned the value of consistent fitness activity 💪 and responsible nutrition 🍓 and have lost 40 lbs--against the odds of Hashimoto's Disease--over the past 4 years and felt confident wearing a bikini shortly after celebrating my 50th birthday 👙.
