MEMPHIS, TENNESSEE: ‼️‼️ Alert! Shelter closing!
I visited Sunny Meadows last summer and photographed lots of their doggies. I just got the news that they are shutting down and need to place all their animals urgently. They have several of longtimers (some of their dogs have been waiting 10 years!). If they have a few harder-to-place doggies, others are highly adoptable, friendly with all, like Tulip.
Tulip was found roaming with other dogs, back in 2016. It took the Sunny Meadows team forever to capture her, because she was so scared. Today, she is so loving and sweet, it’s hard to remember how scared she was back then! Tulip has been waiting patiently for a family to pick her, for 6 long years! At about 9 years old, she is now a “senior”. We aren’t sure why nobody has chosen her. She is gorgeous, has the softest fur you’ve ever touched, and has never met a stranger. She loves all people, is a great cuddle buddy and loves to play catch and tug-of-war. Tulip is not good with cats and is dog selective so a meet and greet will be required.

He was at the rescue facility for 3 years before we adopted him.
Whoever had him before he got to the shelter cut his ears with scissors. He didn’t deserve that unnecessary pain.
A lot of people overlooked him at the rescue on adoption days & events because of his ears and the fact that he is part pittie.
I love him so much and I’m glad I get to be his mom. He’s been part of our family for almost 7 years now and out of all my dogs he’s the most cuddliest and my “soulmutt”.
