Houston Methodist Transplant 17/03/2024

Hello my name is Shannon Wilson & I am the daughter of Susan Pavlich. This post is the hardest one I have ever made in my life. My mother was diagnosed in 2015 with chronic kidney disease & her kidneys are currently failing. Her nephrologist recommends a kidney transplant preemptive of dialysis. My mom is currently going through the process of being evaluated by Houston Methodist Hospital to be approved to receive a kidney from a living donor. We need all the support & help to spread the word & we are praying that God bring forth her perfect angel donor match.
My greatest blessing would be that someone in our family is the perfect match. However this is not always the case. Me & dad have completed the necessary forms to start the review of being a living donor to mom. There is no age requirement for a living donor. The transplant center has advised that we identify as many possible donors as it is a process that requires the PERFECT match.
About my mom:
She’s a loving grandmother who is madly in love with each one of her grandchildren. She’s a lover of Jesus Christ. She & my dad have been married for 52 years. She is the support system in our family. She’s always there for all of our crisis in life. She cherishes relationships & is a good friend to so many. Yes she is a social butterfly!
