Hey there 👋🏼 My name is Kaitlyn Trowbridge! I am a wife and homescool momma to 3 boys and a baby in Heaven. We currently live in South Dakota, but have lived in several other states previously. We have a dog named Popcorn who is a lab-mix shelter rescue. I love Jesus, coffee, chocolate, and of course all things yarn! My favorite thing to do is crochet while watching TV with my hubby in the evenings. I taught myself to crochet 4+ years ago, when my husband was working nights. I am left-handed, which in the crochet world meant that I had to learn how to adapt A LOT since I effectively crochet “backwards” 😜

I’d love to see, and be a part of, some positive changes in the crochet community that would make it easier for lefties, especially beginners! My goal is to soon start collaborating with pattern designers, to help them be able to publish their new designs with left-handed adaptation notes, and make available left-handed notes for their existing patterns (If you are a pattern designer, and this resonates with you, please feel free to reach out to me for more info, my inbox is always open 💌)
