Project LAAN
Fighting Poverty Through Health

As our mission, Project LAAN aims to instill and promote public health advocacy, health literacy, and patient empowerment to its partner communities and members.

This searing heat is a product of human-induced climate change and urbanization among other factors, and it serves as a harsh reminder of the consequences of our actions.
Project LAAN is one with Ateneo de Manila Universityโs Laudato Si Journey towards Integral Ecology. Forwarding public health in the country is largely intertwined with the call for integral ecology as individuals affected by the climate crisis. We emphasize the importance of our conscious co-dependence with the environment and other creatures we live with.
In celebration of Earth Day 2024, Project LAAN advocates environmental sustainability as part of its commitment in fighting poverty through health. Project LAAN stands firm with Masungi Georeserve, vehemently opposing the threat to the protected landscape, a living testament of the possibilities of sustainable conservation in the Philippines.

The EDSA revolution is an unfinished revolution. Sparking the still ongoing struggle for human rights and a just society, the fight that started on those streets in February 1986 continues each day as we work to build a better Philippines.
The past brought our people to the present, and we must continue to fight for a future that never forgets. The spirit of unity and empowerment from the EDSA People Power Revolution lives on in the pursuits of equitable health. In both small gestures and large campaigns, barangay health centers and rural health units offering primary care services, farmers cultivating nutrition through produce, community pantries bringing people together, officials reforming policies, to advocates and mobilizations raising voices - through diverse efforts both individual and collective, the revolution moves forward.
When different sectors work as one, real power and progress are within our grasp. The power is in our hands, and the revolution continues as we join them together.
