My lovely friends, I desperately need some volunteers to train to sit at the desk for me. Come August I will be out for surgery, and while I can come back after a week or two, it won't be at full speed. I would very much like to have people trained to sit at my desk doing basic duties -- answering the phone, collecting money for lunch, and sending folks back to Nancy for trips. I will be here for questions, and to do the daily financials, but I will not be at full speed or function. August is quickly approaching, and I need help. Thanks!!
We are all ready for an adventurous week of exercise class!
The Dundee Area Senior Center has extended their hours due to the Heat Advisory we are under. Our hours for the week of June 17 will be Monday thru Friday between 8-5pm. If you do not have air conditioning this would be a great place to "cool down"! Questions, please let me know.
For those who are traveling with the Dundee Area Senior Center to Lancaster and Hershey, PA in September, your final payment is due on July 1, 2024. Please and thank you!!!
Join our community partner TLC for their grand opening tomorrow June 1st!
We have been cordially invited :)
Huge Shoutout to the Dundee Volunteer Fire Department. They came and helped us with our flag pole as a gesture of community service. We greatly appreciate all their assistance!

This event is open to the public and we are able to accommodate up to 150 people. Just a reminder that the Volunteer luncheon is tomorrow Wednesday May 1st from 11-2
Actually, took a vacation day and went to the movies. We saw King Arthur based on a true story. It was really good and popcorn at the movies is always good.

Another scam you should know about.... I have it under good authority cats do the same thing.... and teenagers too haha.
Hello! I'm looking for some people that would like to volunteer to work at the front desk answering phone calls and taking money for lunches at the front counter. I will here and you can send people back to me for all other transactions, unless you want to learn it all (especially for days when I'm not here). This will be an 8am - 11:30 shift, unless you are covering for a day I'm not here, then it will be 8am to 3pm. Please let me know if you are interested, even if we have already talked, because, well.... I forgot who was interested in helping at the desk. ...the biggest lie I tell myself "I don't need to write that down, I'll remember" -- Missy
This cell phone was found by our Adopt-a-Road crew on Dunbar Road about a quarter mile west of Geiger Road. If it is yours, please feel free to contact the church office (please leave a message if there is no answer), or send us a message here on Facebook, and we will find a way to get it back to you!
apparently all it takes is to post you are having trouble and magically your lines work again haha. Thankful to the quick fix. We are back up and running! ...and just as crazy as ever :)
****Edit*****
We are back up and running!!
We are having major phone issues where we can't hear what you are saying. Our phone/internet provider is working to find the issue. In the mean time, we are planning big for lunch, so even if you can't get through, you will get a lunch, just know if you are getting a to go, you will need to be patient so we can put ut together when you get here. You can leave a message here, but my cell phone is only working about half the time today ( no 5g, cell tower must be having trouble), and my internet only connects about 1/4 of the time here at the center.
Just a reminder tomorrow Friday April 19th is potluck for lunch. Bring a dish to pass or pay $3 and just enjoy. Serving at 11:30
The Dundee Area Senior Center has a trip to Firekeeper's Casino on May 2nd and we still have room on the bus. The trip cost $35; we get $25 for slot play and $5 towards food. This is a great day trip and a lot of fun. We will be traveling with two buses and we play bingo on the bus. Payment is due when you sign-up and our Center is at 284 W. Monroe St.. You can pay the $35 by check or cash; bus driver tip and bingo are to be paid in cash; $2 or $3 for driver and $2 to play bingo. If you have questions, our phone # is 734-529-2401. Thanks for supporting our Senior Center.
If the Easter bunny brought too much candy to your house, the seniors at the Senior Center would gladly enjoy it in their candy dish :) We appreciate all the support we get !!
