As June marks Pride month, we at Alpha Kappa Psi want to share our unconditional support to the LGBTQ+ community, not just this month, but every month through the love and support of our community. Zac Ekedahl, our former president, is a symbol of absolute love and what it truly means to be a brother in AKPSI:

“To me, AKPsi felt like the first place where I knew I could be my authentic self and never feel judged. I have never had a more supportive group of people that have made me feel loved and cared for. Being a Beta Gamma Brother of Alpha Kappa Psi means finding and following your own path, while developing bonds that will last forever. We invite you to come to our rush events, to meet our brothers, and to learn about how you can start building your future with the support of a lifelong brotherhood. This semester, our rush theme is “We Are All In This Together” to help us remember our brotherhood is there for one another even through the most challenging times. We are always there to support one another.

Shoutout to all the amazing brothers that came to support our ladies racing Friday, Alumni, Kevin Drake, for coming back to help coach our team and Team Manager, Val McEldowney, for helping run practices.

Rob Liu Gala
To raise awareness of mental health and accessibility of supporting resources, the Rob Liu Gala was made in honor of Alpha Kappa Psi's own brother, Rob Liu. Dedicated, intelligence, and humble, Rob was the definition of what it meant to be a true brother of Beta Gamma. With his passing, we as a chapter would like to honor our fellow brother by fundraising towards the Robert Liu Memorial Foundation dedicated to improving access to mental health resources for underrepresented students through IU's Counseling and Psychological Service Program.
