Broke my 8th rib, it's official and time to slow down.
I fell last week while fat biking and thought it was bruised. It's now a week later and it's confirmed that it's broken.
When you are forced to stop or slow down, things get dark and sad quickly. Motivation decreases and you feel stuck. That's ok. I think it's normal to feel this way. It's definitely not fun! But then again, all things that push your buttons or limits can't always be fun, right?
So here we are, I'm not allowed to train or play, for a month to allow proper healing. Yay lol 😂 very sarcastic haha
And it's alright, there is a lesson here. It's my job to listen and learn 😍 universe: I'm ok and I'm listening! Lezzzgooo!

I used to be scared of the cold 🥶 i know i know, how is that possible when you live in Montreal Quebec??? Hahaha but it's true!
I didn't know how to be comfortable and warm while in sub zero temperatures.
Now though, whole different story!!!

****Dress warm!
****Find a buddy who is willing to try it with you!
****Plan an activity you always wanted to do and go for it!

The benefits of being outside in nature are sooooooo huge, they can't be ignored!
If you have anxiety, go outside! If you have any stress at all, go outside! If you feel blue or down, go outside!
If you are lacking inspiration, go outside!
The list goes on and on and on 😁

To sum up the first week of eating healthier and training again: I have to say it was a few things! Haha 😁

1. It was fun 😁 really fun finding myself again and juicing.

2. It was hard 🙆‍♀️ like a tough wake up call and it kept coming.

3. It wasn't perfect! I was pretty happy with my decisions and even though I indulged on the weekend, I feel good with it!

So, tomorrow is week 2, and I want to make sure I give myself some props for the work I accomplished. For starting and for getting here.

I'm tired 😃 and that's ok! I didn't do my workout, didn't juice and had a really late but healthy lunch.
I'm ok with that! My body wants a break and i am listening.
It's alllll about practicing self-compassion 💕 it's OK! once I'm rested, I'm back at it!
Let's give ourselves a break, we can be so hard and so critical. Am i right?

Easy to make lunch, replace mayonnaise with natural yogurt and work with your favorite spices 😁 i added curry , 🤤🤤
Add veggies and whole wheat wrap ⏩⏩ boom, voilà!
