We have two openings for someone over 18 for an iSocial “Professional Communications and Leadership Skills” workshop staring in 4 weeks. This is the Zoom delivered evening program for adults on the spectrum who want the skills and confidence to continue their education, get a job or get a better job and make friends. Our program is used by large companies for their employees. It is also available to the public. This an extensive case-based program with real world role play labs and 5 life aid tools that the participants take with them. We are matching 6 adults based on age, abilities and interests. The 4 already enrolled are starting college or looking for a job or advancement. We do have advanced sessions for people already employed by companies like IBM but this group of 6 is for people just starting out. If you want to know more about the program FB message me here. If you email me at [email protected] let me know that you are also in this FB group because we provide a discount.
If you have another minute, here is a quick story. We had a 20-year-old living with his grandmother. He had no friends and rarely left the house after graduating high school. Now he is doing well in a JuCo, has a part time job and told the group he is asking a girl out for a date. (Dating, driving a car and jobs are big topics). Here is what the grandmother told her friends about iSocial. “Our grandson has learned so much!! I can’t recommend it enough. We’ve seen social skills, self-esteem, job skills, and communication improvement. An added benefit has been the friendship building as well. As I said, it is truly amazing. It flows so naturally even though there is a format and is guided by professionals. It is the best programs he has been a part of and he looks forward to the meeting every week.” If you are interested, we’ll set up an interview.
