Happy Father's Day everyone! In the spirit of the day I thought I would share a little snippet of my own dad.

In December 2017, when clearing out my dads house I found some crude silver rings he had made and all kinds of wires, metals and faceted gemstones he had been meaning to turn into Jewellery. He had previously owned a metal scrapyard that I worked at when I was younger, so metal was really in my veins.

Inspired, I went on a one to one evening course and learnt all about the art of silversmithing. I really love that there is just so much you can do with metal, from fold forming to stamping, texturing and forging.

I am SO feeling these mushroom studs today and it got me thinking!! Anyone ever tried foraging for mushrooms?
