Reunited for the SF Bay 2016 Ronstan Bridge to Bridge race. Messed up the start but still managed to do the 5.8 nm course in 14m 06s with an average speed of 24.7kts.

Race to Alaska top awards handed out The Race to Alaska is still happening, with various teams making their way from Port Townsend, Wash., to Ketchikan. But, race organizers had a party and awards ceremony at the Alaska Fish House on Saturday for the teams that blew through the finish line in the first week of the race.

Mad Dog wins R2AK with new record of something like 3 days 20h. We will follow up with details and race analysis later. They arrived 6 hr earlier than the race plan. MAD dog, by the way, stands for (Randy) Miller, (Ian) Andrewes, and (Colin) Dunphy, the skipper and crew of the boat. What a fantastic job they did.
