Tufts Tap Ensemble

Wanna join Tufts Tap? Come audition on Friday 9/6 at 4 PM or on Saturday 9/7 at 11:30 AM! Both auditions will take place in the Sophia Gordon Multipurpose Room! Make sure to bring water and are ready to have some fun! If you don’t have your tap shoes that’s not a problem! We welcome auditions in sneakers as well (our tip is to choose a sneaker with a hard sole to make it easier!) Can’t wait to see you there!! 🕺🕺

⭐️do I need to have tap experience to be in Tufts Tap? The members of our group all have various amounts of experience coming into our group. Our YouTube channel is full of videos from our past shows - definitely browse through those to get a feel for the level of difficulty of our dances.
⭐️where is the audition in Harleston? Walk into Harleston and go down the stairs immediately in front of the entrance. Make a sharp left off the stairs and you’re there!

Hi!!!! Fall is approaching!!!! We are so so excited and wanted to take a second to introduce our ensemble’s E-Board before the year begins!

First up are our dearest leaders Madelyn and James! Madelyn is from Manchester, ME, majoring in Civil Engineering, and James is from Yardley, PA, majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Dance!

Next up are our fabulous social chairs Evelyn and Emma! Evelyn is from Pound Ridge, NY, majoring in Economics and minoring in Computer Science & Child Studies and Human Development, and Emma S is from Bethlehem, PA, majoring in Psychology & History and minoring in Dance!

Next, our PR team! Emma, Emma, and Jess! Emma G is from Bedford, NH, majoring in Biopsychology, Emma L is from Duxbury, MA, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Music, and Jess is from NYC, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Cognitive and Brain Sciences (CBS) & Dance!

Finally, our incredible treasurer! Astrid is from East Aurora, NY, majoring in Biochemistry and minoring in Spanish & Science, Technology, and Society (STS)!
