Goshen Library Foundation
A community-based Fund Raising Committee has been formed to appeal to the residents of Goshen for donations to support enhancements to the new library.
The Goshen Library Foundation a component fund of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan, and has been established to supplement furnishings purchases, and support future programs, for the new library building. The committee will work closely with the Goshen Library Foundation, which is a component fund of the Community Foundation of Orange and Sullivan and has been established for the purpose of management of all funds collected.

Those who follow the Friends of the Library page are aware that we are preparing to place a Time Capsule in the niche at the library that was originally intended to be done in 2019, shortly after the opening of the new library building. Now, post COVID, we will have our ceremony in late October. We wanted our loyal donors to know that one of the items to be included in the capsule (to be opened in 50 years) is the "Book of Donors" that was created following the fundraising campaign. This will be a great remembrance of the generosity of our Goshen patrons, and in particular for the school classes who organized their donations; we hope that they will be the ones who will be present when this capsule is opened in the year 2069!
