Good morning Mavericks!

Our playday is open to any CGA rider. There will be NO points given out but we will have ribbons/ trophies and gift cards to 1st place :) . This will also count as show credit for anyone needing an extra show to qualify for year end awards.

Setups will be ran first: Poles 2, Speed Barrels, Figure 8 Stake. Those wanting your times to count must be in full cga attire.

Playday events: Speed Barrel relay ( Partner event) , Trail, Big T/ Poles Keyhole combo, Water Cup, and 2 mystery events (we're still working on them lol)

$50 for all 5 playday events and $3 if you'd like to run schooling events on the setups. We're dropping the $20 grounds fee if you'd like to ride multiple horses, just fill out paperwork in the morning.

It's going to be a lot of fun and we look forward to seeing you guys out there!

We're looking forward to our playday this wknd. It's a set up show so if anyone is wanting or needing any specific event for year end please let us know. We are still working on our playday events but it will be lots of fun. We will be having a trail event, a speed barrel relay (partner event), sweetheart barrels, and we'll keep you updated on the rest.

No dress code will be enforced (unless you need/ want a setup) and we will have the Lions Club there cooking for us :)

Hello Mavericks! Just wanted to give you all a heads up that we will be riding in the Moreno arena next weekend ( the one with the grand stands). Because it is a shorter arena we will be running the shorter distance events such as Figure 8 Flags, Poles 1, Big T, Speed Ball, Figure 8 Stake, and Keyhole.

President Message

I want to thank everyone for their help in making this such a great club. We’re all volunteers and it takes all of us to run a show. We’re having problems with people not showing up to their work stations. And getting the last event filled out. You need to ride when you have to so you can get to your work station on time. It also takes judges to run it. It’s hard running 80-90+ rider shows with a handful of judges who ride too. All judges can’t make every show and some move on or retire. All clubs need judges, so we need to keep recruiting. So please help us by becoming a judge. It’s not hard, and we’ll help you through the process. Just email CGA at [email protected] and ask for your judges packet.

For all our 16 and over Mavericks members.... come out and play on Saturday April 27th for Norco Ladies Night. Sign ups start at 3:45 and we go on at 5!

5 events: Speed Trail, Speed Barrel Relay, Extreme Barrels, Ribbon Race, and 4 person Relay race. Gift cards will be awarded to top 5 in each event. It's a fun night out!!!

This will be considered a SETUP show so for anyone needing times to go to state please call them in as we get closer. No points will be given..... After we've ran set ups, we will then be having our PLAY DAY!!!! Awards ave gift cards will be handed out :) We will work on which events we will be having as we get closer.
