The principal of the Chirag School- Sumit Arora and the teachers had spent the last 4 days full of worry. The DM of Nainital had declared 4days of holidays for all schools since the weather dept. predicted thunderstorms. This meant that today's cultural program had to be performed without any practice but all performances were absolutely delightful! However, the highlight of the day was when Sumit jumped on to the stage dressed up as Roald Dahl's enormous crocodile since the child who was the original character fell ill! The children and parents were so ecstatic to see such a sporty principal! What a day it has been at school today :)
