Four teams took to the field to build the Brownsville Sams Stadium for the Brownsville Independent School District in TX. Using our Grey Block, along with Alamo Brick Red and White Terrazzo colors of Ground Face Block, is the matchup we didn't know we needed. The crews of NM Contracting LLC, LG Construction Services, and Rike Ogden Figueroa Allex Architects laid the block using SPEC MIX colored mortars in Burgundy and Tanglewood just in time for the season to begin!

Looks like Fernandina Beach and Hillard Beach in Florida are really heating things up with these new firehouses. Acon Construction is on the job using 12,000 units of block inside and out.

Sunworld Construction is finishing construction on the new local brew pub, Littleton Brew Co, in Littleton, CO. Built with 12 thousand units of CMU and 6,300 units of Best Brik, it looks like hoppy days are ahead with this new brewery opening up!

The teams of Heitkamp Masonry, Inc., Navigate Building Solutions, and H Design Group have assembled an amazing new building in Wentzville, MO. 40,000 Concrete Masonry Units, including Arriscraft Renaissance Masonry units in Satin Limestone, make Wentzville's new Public Works facility.....work.

Troy South Elementary School in Troy, Missouri, is scheduled to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony in June. Hoener Architects and JDS Masonry put in significant effort, utilizing White Terrazzo and Charcoal colors in the Ground Face finish on the exterior to complete this 82,000-square-foot building, which will serve the growing population of this thriving community.

Twelve talented participants from six Jacksonville-area high schools showcased their skills at the Florida SkillsUSA Career Expo. We had a great time judging the masonry competition and were proud to supply the blocks and mortar with our friends at SPEC MIX to support the next generation of masons.

EKB Masonry, Group 4 Design, and Auld & White Constructors, LLC are collaborating on a two-story utility plant project aimed at powering the groundbreaking $432 million expansion of the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Best Block is proud to supply over 26,000 units of 12-inch fire-rated CMU for the interior of this endeavor.

A brand new facility is almost complete in the heart of Catoosa, Oklahoma, that will house the Police and Fire Departments, complete with more space for vehicles and equipment. Ground Face block and Split Face block are being combined by the teams of DMG Masonry, GH2 Architects LLC, and Myers-Cherry Construction, LLC. The public safety complex is named for J.B. Hamby, past Chief of Police who was killed responding to a robbery in 1978, and Dale Lynch, past Fire Chief who founded the Catoosa Fire Station in 1965.

We're making progress on the 80-acre mixed-use development in Chesterfield, MO! Featured are The Flats & Terraces at Wildhorse Village designed by Arcturis with construction by Holland Construction Services. Toenjes Brickwork is laying the 240,000 bricks supplied by Best Block, which was sourced from the manufacturers of Hebron Brick Supply, Cloud Ceramics and Kansas Brick and Tile, and Glen-Gery.
