I don’t eat them often because they are terrible for you!! It’s the fattiest part of a chicken, fried in fat & then dipped in fat. 😫🤭⠀

Well this is a “Clean-ish” version of buffalo wings. It’s made with chicken breast, dusted with tapioca starch & is sautéed in coconut oil. ⠀

Now I HAD to add butter to the sauce because coconut oil just felt wrong. ⠀

This was so good, I don’t even miss the full-fat version. ⠀

Everyone around me is getting sick!!! I’ve been asked to stay healthy until every person in my house got sick. And then I went down to.🏳️🏳️🏳️⠀

So yesterday, I said NO MORE!!! And made some elderberry syrup to help boost my immunity and my family’s immunity.⠀

I’m happy to share my recipe!
It all began....
It all began with a couple tomato plants, planted in a litter box (you heard that right), on a fire escape in Hoboken, NJ.
Mike grew up on a farm, I grew up in a Lebanese family so we really enjoy our food. I’ve been a foodie for as long as I can remember & Mike, well he’s got the green thumb so he’s the farmer. It was a match made in heaven.
Since then, our garden has gotten a little bigger (not much though) & our palettes a little more refined. We like quality ingredients and simple fresh food. We like to eat clean BUT it has to taste good. That being said, I am ALL about moderation and we definitely indulge from time to time.
We want to enjoy life and often times push the status quo. We believe life is an adventure and should be treated as such. We only have one.
