Betterment of Brothers and Sisters Inc., Alumni Association
An extension of the Betterment of Brothers and Sisters organization under the Virginia State University National Alumni Association.
The purposes of this entity shall be:
1. To provide service to Virginia State University through philanthropy and community service.
2. Service all human kind however and whenever possible through scholarship and generous donations.
3. To make an everlasting impression amongst today’s youth through conscious programming techniques and other philanthropic initiatives.

Alumni on the move 💙💛
OCAAHS will celebrate the Class of 2022 Eclipse Award recipients in person at our annual meeting on February 12, 2023. Today we honor Youth Eclipse Award Recipient Donea Brooks is a 2017 graduate of Orange County High School. After graduating with a marketing degree from Virginia State University in 2021, she is now a Communications teacher at OCHS and an entrepreneur with a marketing consulting business. She has held leadership positions in the Orange County Youth Branch of the NAACP. In college, she served as president of Virginia State’s NAACP Collegiate Chapter.
Her volunteer activities include collecting food for the local food pantry, raising money for scholarships for low-income students and assisting needy families financially at Christmas. She serves as a Youth Ambassador with Just Orange, a civic action group dedicated to empowering Orange youth to engage with state and local government leaders and learn how to influence public policy.

We are officially one week away!! You are cordially invited to attend our first ever alumni state of the union summit on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 6pm via zoom. The purpose of this event is to provide pertinent organizational updates and seek resolutions for alumni engagement. Please share with your networks and find the information below on how to attend. We ask that you not put the zoom information on social media platforms, it is located in groupme and will be shared through email correspondence. This event is catered to alumni but undergraduate members are still welcome to attend for development purposes upon graduation. Lastly please do not forget to continue to promote and support our endowment!
