Just wrapped up an incredible Walleye Fishing trip that took me to 3 amazing places!! The trip started off at continued onto and finally finished up at !! It was a whirl wind of a 6 day trip that has left me exhausted but happy!! The first video of the series dropped last night on the YouTube channel if you are interested in watching. Huge thank you to for making this trip possible!! Can’t wait for the next adventure.

You can not control the past but you can influence your future. Each sunrise is literally a metaphor for a new start. What will today bring? What will tomorrow bring? The unknown is what keeps a lot of us going.

Walleye Mafia hosted another CPR tournament on the FishDonkey app this past May Long. This is the story for Carter and myself. One of the things I didn't cover in this video is how much Angler's Edge Mapping helped us out on this day. Spoiler alert but the shore line we fished to win the event was one I had NEVER fished before, but because of a few key areas that really popped out on the map I told Carter I think we should focus on that shoreline. If you plan to fish LOTP this summer I highly recommend getting the map either for a Lowrance depth finder or on an app called Avenza Maps. Such a fun day, and I can't wait to do it again!!

May Long MEET UP!! This weekend will be a full weekend at Lake of the Prairies in Manitoba! On Monday the 22nd, myself, Cindy and my Starcraft boat will be at Rickers Campground & Buckets Store from 12-3pm Manitoba time, which is 11-2 Saskatchewan time. This is your chance to see how I have my boat fully rigged as well ask any questions you might have! I will have some tackle to giveaway for all the kids we will also bring Merch for anyone that might want to purchase anything. Buckets store will be open and they have excellent food so you can have lunch right there!

On May 21st the Sunday Walleye Mafia is hosting an online tournament, you can download the FishDonkey app and then search Walleye Mafia and it will come up. Come on out and see if you can beat Carter and myself!

That is a wrap on the ice fishing season…. Time for a much needed rest and relaxation! I know, I know…. “Clayton you get to fish all the time you have it easy”. The truth is I have it really good, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Not sure how many days I spent on the ice but it’s for sure north of 60…. Cheers!!

Counting down the days till I can get the on the water! Going to be a record year!!

2nd Annual fish with Clayton trip up at Bakers Narrows Lodge was a complete success! The group landed 8 fish over 38", the action was a little slower at times, but everyone knew of the trophy potential and grinded it out! Huge thank you to all of the staff at Bakers Narrows Lodge, our 4 guides, Mac, Darryl, Emily and Scott, you all did such an amazing job of taking care of everyone on the ice, and the rest of the staff took care of everyone at the lodge with great food and clean cabins! Can't wait to do it again in 2024!!

The Northern Manitoba trip continues! This is video 1 of 3 from Viking Lodge. This was my first time staying there, but not the first time in the area. If you have been following my videos long enough you know I used to fish at Caribou Lodge quite often. Caribou Lodge was sold and is no longer in operation but just across the bay is Viking Lodge!! Paul, Matt, Anita and Sharnell are amazing hosts and have a great operation! They also have a restaurant on site which makes the trip that much easier! (Hint BEST PIZZA!!) Still 2 videos to come from my trip up there but I already can't wait to go back!!

Wollaston Lake Lodge is looking for guides for the 2023 season! The summer position will run from the end of May to end of August. You must be passionate about the outdoors and customer hospitality. As a Wollaston Fishing Guide, you will be a teacher, mentor, and problem solver to create a once in a lifetime trip for our guests. Guides will be responsible for two guests in their boat each day and be scheduled to work a ten-hour day, seven days a week without any time off. Fly fishing experience is an asset.

Fargo Ice Fishing Show! Looking forward to meeting everyone at the show! I will be there from Friday 3:00pm-7:30pm, all day Saturday and from 10:00-12:00pm on Sunday!!

I will be found in the Frostbite booth on Friday and then again on Saturday from 10:00am-1:30pm, I will also be at the Aqua-Vu booth from 2:00pm-3:00pm, the Otter Outdoors booth from 3:00-4:00pm, At 4:00pm we are having a big Q&A with some of the members from the Game of Inches. Tomorrow night 7pm!!! (Monday). The final episodes of our five day marathon competition “Game of Inches” will be aired!! We hold the lead going into the final day, but other teams are so close and will likely close the gap…. Foot is on the gas pedal and we have no plans of hitting the breaks!! Let’s go !!!

Private White-tail Lodge! A really good friend of mine is looking for a Chef for Nov 26 to Feb 3rd. The lodge is located near Belzoni, MS.
